WEDDING & HONEYMOON INFO
Here you will find many of the most common questions I get asked. However, if there’s a question that’s not below and you would like an answer, then just contact me and I will be happy to answer it for you.
Do you live in Bora Bora?
How many images do you include in your photography packages?
Yes, I am a full-time resident of Bora Bora, living here with my family. As a local photographer, I exclusively offer my services within Bora Bora. This local presence is a significant advantage for my clients in several ways:
No Travel Chaos: Since I am based in Bora Bora, you won't face any uncertainties or complications that can arise from a photographer flying in from another island.
Flexibility: My local presence in Bora Bora makes it much easier to accommodate last-minute bookings or rescheduling. This is especially important for events like weddings or other special occasions where timing can be sensitive.
Being based in Bora Bora allows me to be readily available and responsive to your photography needs, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The number of images included depends on the package you choose. We offer a range of options to suit different needs:
Starting Package: Includes 50 pictures for a one-hour session.
Two-Hour Package: Comes with 100 photos.
Three-Hour Package: Offers a collection of 150 photos.
Each photo is carefully selected and edited to showcase my unique style, ensuring that your memories are beautifully captured. All images will be delivered through an online photo gallery, making it easy for you to access and share your stunning Bora Bora memories.
How do you deliver the photos and what is your turnaround time?
For which hotels and resorts do you offer your photography services in Bora Bora?
The process of delivering your photos is both professional and efficient:
Photo Selection: After the photoshoot, I will edit and pre-select the photos. You'll have the opportunity to choose your favorite images from this selection, based on the package you have chosen. If you find more photos that you love, there's always an option to upgrade your package.
Photo Delivery: Once you've made your selections, the chosen photos will be available for download in high resolution within a day or two. You'll receive your beautiful images through 'Pic_Time', an online professional private gallery, ensuring a seamless and secure way to access your photos.
Turnaround Time: I strive to deliver your photos as quickly as possible. The maximum turnaround time is 7 days. However, depending on my current workload, you might receive your photos even earlier!
I am proud to offer my wedding, honeymoon, and family photography services across a variety of esteemed resorts in Bora Bora. Whether you're planning a lavish wedding, a romantic honeymoon, or a memorable family getaway, you can avail of my services at the following resorts:
Four Seasons Bora Bora: Renowned for its luxurious overwater bungalows and stunning views.

These collaborations with top-tier resorts ensure that your photography experience will be as luxurious and memorable as your stay in Bora Bora.
What kind of equipment do you use?
What is your cancellation policy for photoshoot in Bora Bora?
To ensure the highest quality images for your special moments, I use state-of-the-art equipment:
Cameras: My primary tools are two latest Sony 7R5 cameras, known for their exceptional image quality and reliability.
Lenses: I use a selection of high-quality prime lenses, specifically Sony G Master series lenses. My kit includes:
50mm for stunning portraits and detailed shots.
24mm for a broader frame, ideal for capturing the environment and larger groups.
14mm for wide-angle shots, perfect for expansive sceneries and landscapes.
85mm for capturing intimate moments with beautiful background blur and detail.
Each lens offers a different perspective, from close-ups to wide-angle shots, allowing me to capture the beauty of Bora Bora in all its diversity.
No Zoom Lenses: I exclusively use prime lenses as they provide superior image quality and allow more creativity in framing each shot.
Backup Process: I take great care in backing up photos to ensure that your memories are preserved safely.
This combination of advanced equipment and meticulous backup procedures ensures that every moment is captured with clarity, creativity, and care.
I understand that travel plans, especially to a destination like Bora Bora, can sometimes change unexpectedly. To make this process less stressful, I've designed a flexible and client-friendly cancellation policy:
No Deposits or Retainers Required: You can book your photoshoot without any upfront payment, offering you peace of mind and flexibility.
Payment Options: The session fee can be conveniently charged to your hotel room, allowing you to settle the payment upon check-out. Alternatively, you can choose to pay me directly.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy: In collaboration with most resorts, we operate under a 24-hour cancellation policy. If your plans change, please inform me as soon as possible so that I can accommodate other clients. This approach is based on trust and mutual respect with my clients.
Exception for Rain: In Bora Bora, the only exception to this policy is inclement weather, particularly rain, which is considered a valid reason for last-minute cancellations.
I strive to be as accommodating as possible to ensure that your experience is worry-free, both in planning and in capturing your special moments.
What happens if it rains or there's bad weather during my photoshoot?
What should I wear for my photoshoot in Bora Bora?
Deciding what to wear for your photoshoot is an important part of ensuring your photographs turn out just as you imagine. To assist with this, I have compiled a comprehensive guide on my blog titled "What to Wear for Your Photo Shoot in Bora Bora." This guide covers:
Outfit Suggestions: Based on different types of shoots like weddings, honeymoons, family photos, etc.
Color Choices: Advice on selecting colors that complement Bora Bora's natural beauty.
Comfort and Style Tips: Recommendations on how to balance comfort with style, considering Bora Bora's climate and terrain.
I highly recommend reading this blog post to get detailed insights and tips that will help you look and feel your best during your photoshoot. The right outfit can make a significant difference in the outcome of your photos!
Weather in Bora Bora can be unpredictable, and often, online forecasts are not very reliable. In fact, many weather reports for Bora Bora are actually showing conditions for Tahiti, which is quite a distance away. For accurate local weather, I recommend checking WindGuru Bora Bora, the only weather station on the island.
Here's how we handle weather-related issues:
Book Early in Your Stay: I suggest scheduling your photoshoot at the beginning of your stay. This way, if it does rain, we have more flexibility to postpone the session to another day at no extra cost, subject to availability.
Dealing with Sudden Bad Weather: If bad weather occurs during your session, I will do my best to reschedule the remaining time for another date, depending on my current bookings. If rescheduling isn’t possible, you will only be charged for the time we actually spent shooting.
Cloudy But Not Rainy Conditions: If the day is cloudy but not rainy, the session will proceed as planned. Overcast conditions can actually provide a very soft and flattering light, ideal for photography. While you might not get the saturated blue colors of the lagoon, you can still expect beautiful and memorable photos. However, a heavily clouded sky often indicates impending rain, in which case we'll need to consider rescheduling.
In summary, my goal is to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure you get the best possible photos from your time in Bora Bora, regardless of the weather.
Do you offer drone or underwater photography services in Bora Bora?
While drone and underwater photography can capture unique perspectives of Bora Bora's stunning landscapes and marine life, these are not services that I currently offer. My specialization is in couples, family, and wedding photography, where my focus is on capturing intimate, emotional moments and the natural beauty of interactions.
I believe in dedicating my skills and attention to this specific area to provide the highest quality and most memorable photographic experiences for my clients. However, if you are interested in drone or underwater photography, there are other photographers in Bora Bora who specialize in these areas. You can often find information about these services through the hotels or local tourism offices.
What is the best time to visit Bora Bora for a photoshoot?
Choosing the right time to visit Bora Bora can enhance your experience, especially when it comes to photography. While Bora Bora is a stunning destination year-round, certain months offer ideal conditions for capturing those perfect moments:
Optimal Season: For the best weather, consider visiting during the dry season, which typically runs from May to October. During this period, you'll find less rainfall and more sunny days, perfect for outdoor photography.
Avoiding the Crowds: If you prefer a more tranquil setting, consider planning your visit during the shoulder months, like April, November, or early December. This time offers a balance between good weather and fewer tourists.
Detailed Guide: For more in-depth information on the best time to visit Bora Bora, I invite you to read the blog post on my website. It provides a comprehensive overview of the seasonal variations, weather patterns, and tips for planning your trip to coincide with the most photogenic times of the year.
Remember, Bora Bora's beauty shines through in all seasons, and I'm here to capture stunning images no matter when you choose to visit.
Do you offer albums and prints for your photography services?
While living on a small and isolated island like Bora Bora means I don't have access to local printing companies, I do offer a convenient solution for prints and albums. Here's how it works:
Online Ordering: After your photoshoot, you can easily order prints and albums directly from your online photo gallery. This process is designed to be user-friendly and efficient.
High-Quality Printing: The printing services are primarily based in the USA, known for their high-quality prints and a wide range of options. This ensures that the final products you receive are of the best quality, capturing the essence of your memories in Bora Bora beautifully.
Delivery to Your Address: Once you've made your selection and placed an order, the prints and albums will be delivered straight to your address, regardless of where you are in the world.
Gallery Platform: I use the Pic-Time gallery platform, which is renowned for its excellent service and quality products. This platform allows you to view, select, and order your photos in a seamless and hassle-free manner.
This service is part of my commitment to providing a complete and satisfying photography experience, ensuring that your special moments in Bora Bora are preserved in the best way possible.

Your session should be fun and a good time. So feel free to be you! Plus, laughing will get you relaxed way sooner and make the rest easier.
Soft and neutral colors work best. Choose soft or neutral colors for the majority of your outfits.
Don’t forget your hands! People tend to not to know where to put their hands in photos and end up with them hanging awkwardly at their sides.Put them around each other, touch your love’s face or brush her hair out of her face.
Focus on each other! I don’t take a lot of camera aware photos, so just focus on each other. Look at each other, kiss, cuddle, look into one direction together, just not at the camera. I’ll let you know when I need you looking at me.
TIPS FOR YOUR COUPLE SESSION
Here are a few tips that’ll make life easier for you and me. My couple sessions are really relaxed, we’ll walk around talking, enjoying most beautiful place on earth .
Try not to be too matching, think to complement. If one of you wears something really colorful or with large patterns, go for small patterns or neutral with the other one.
Prepare to hug, kiss, embrace, talk to each other, look at each other. You will do this all the time.
Hold moments! Don’t rush from pose to pose or moment to moment. Give me the chance to capture it.
I often zoom with my feet as I always shoot prime (non-zoom) lenses, so if I come closer or move, it’s usually because you’re doing great!
